Work with individual students, or very small groups, under the supervision of the ESP & class teacher
Actively support individual students in the mainstream and / or ESP class in collaboration with the class teacher,by adapting / differentiating activities as necessary
Deliver adapted or modified pedagogical material
Provide appropriate and specific feedback to the ESP teacher or class teacher on student achievement
Candidate requirements :
Appropriate pedagogical qualifications or certifications
Experience & training in working with students with significant special needs Autism, Behaviour, LD, ADHD, Dyslexia
Energy, dynamism, determination
Open-mindedness, awareness of, and interest in PYP and its associated pedagogical approaches
Confident in the use of ICT and willing to develop expertise necessary in a school setting
Work well as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Be patient and have a degree of flexibility
Be passionate for this kind of work
Follow an individualized professional development programme
Fluent in both English and French
