Assistant Professor - Mathematics
Position Summary :
The Department of Mathematics at Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor to begin in the 2019-
2020 academic year. This position is tenure track.
The candidate would be expected to teach 9 credits of undergraduate mathematics or statistics courses each semester, maintain an active research program, and contribute to department and University service.
Strong candidates from all areas mathematics are encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to candidates with research expertise in an area of mathematics that is conducive to undergraduate involvement.
The Department of Mathematics consists of 12 full-time faculty representing diverse mathematical interests, and serves approximately 100 undergraduate majors seeking degrees in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics and education.

Doctorate degree in mathematics or closely-related field.

Teaching experience beyond the level of recitation.
