The Marketing Manager B2B works closely with the client engagement teams and Faculty involved in corporate business development activities.

The mission of this role is to lead the B2B marketing strategy in a client centric integrated approach covering the full B2B offering :

  • Learning & Development custom programs
  • Business Transformation custom programs
  • Corporate Learning Network services
  • B2B marketing strategy

  • Lead the design and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications strategy supporting the business development of the whole B2B offering
  • Provide the framework and tools ensuring that the client engagement teams communicate and sell the whole B2B offering in an integrated value proposition
  • Lead the production of the sales collaterals required by the client engagement teams and Faculty for business development activities (e.
  • g. events, RFP, programs, assessment tools..)

    B2B brand management & execution

  • Devise and execute strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Lead the design and implementation of an B2B brand aligned with IMD corporate brand Real Learning. Real Impact
  • Supervise the communications strategy conveying a consistent B2B brand and positioning of the offering at global scale
  • Run large-scale, multi-channel B2B marketing initiatives utilizing the full marketing mix
  • Ressources and budget management

  • Review the B2B Must-Win-Battles initiatives with the marketing and client engagement teams
  • Maintain the current innovation and agile team culture, with rapid testing of new marketing and sales techniques
  • Manage agencies and third-party relationships. Constantly challenge value based pricing and effective collaborations
  • Manage the overall marketing budget and quarterly reviews with finance
  • Education

  • University degree in business, sciences or equivalent
  • Salesforce trailhead online trainings : Sales and Community cloud, preferable
  • Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B marketing or service marketing, leading multi-disciplinary teams in a multi-cultural environment : product marketing, brand management, corporate sales
  • Proven track record to grow business through the development of innovative B2B marketing and sales strategies
  • Strong experience in designing and presenting comprehensive marketing strategies to executive level
  • Proven experience of using digital and social channels to drive business growth
  • Proven experience in working in an agile organization using SCRUM approach and tools
  • Experience in Sales
  • Experience in leading teams and people management in a multi-cultural environment
  • Competencies

  • Sound understanding of both online & offline marketing channels
  • Ability to devise and deliver a B2B multi-channel strategy
  • Analytical capabilities with an ability to use and interpret external insights & data to make business decisions
  • Strong data driven thinking with understanding of digital marketing metrics
  • Strong negotiation skills to get the best deals and quality out of agencies
  • Be flexible with a can-do attitude and flair for creative problem solving
  • Strong communication and strategy skills to sell ideas at executive level
  • Hands on" approach and be willing to "get their hands dirty"

  • Experience in working with Salesforce eco-system : Sales cloud / Community cloud
  • Master the use of Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel including pivot tables
  • Able to use agile tools : Jira, Confluence, Chatter
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge in other languages (especially French) would be an asset
  • Highly business aware; service - and customer-oriented
  • Ability to work on several different projects and meet deadlines; self-starter, work independently and effectively with others; excellent team spirit
