The Challenge

As Director Global Marketing Swine Nutrition, you own development and execution of the global species strategy. Alignment with both product categories relevant for the species and with the geographies for execution are paramount for the species success.

While technical understanding is important, the role is a marketing role and will be required to build the strategy on relevant insights and market / customer understanding.

You will also coordinate developing and giving direction of the species needs to Innovation. The species should be managed like a business with line of sight from developing strategy to profitably executing it, delivering the agreed growth.

The Position

  • Creates, leads, directs, and executes the global species marketing strategy
  • Understands and embraces swine customer needs
  • Manages marketing activities for swine nutrition globally to achieve growth, results, and goals
  • Aligns with regions, countries, and product categories to deliver the species strategy in connection to the DSM ANH Business strategy
  • Directs Technical Services to support delivering business results in line with set strategic direction
  • Defines areas of opportunity for Innovation teams to ensure market need driven R&D
  • The Ideal

  • A business degree on Master’s level or comparable education
  • Strong business acumen with problem-solving capabilities and strategic approach - clear view of critical priorities and interdependencies
  • Strong team leader with great people and coaching skills and extensive experience managing multiple tasks, priorities, and cultures in a dynamic business environment
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally
  • Pragmatic, with good self-organizational skills and able to engage and contribute in functional discussions
  • Able to speak with authority within the job context and represent the species in a professional manner
