YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL INCLUDE :
Leading a System Engineering Team
Responsible for line management processes like people development, resource allocation, hiring, performance management, salary Review
Strong coaching role to improve your teams skills
Collaborating with multi-discipline and diverse project teams
Evaluation of new optical technologies and assist other software / hardware engineers by screening various options
Create concept design, specification and validation of complex active and passive optical systems (visible and IR)
Create a calibration environment and also support our serial production
Active monitoring our patents
Drive our supplier relationship during the development phase especially in all major design reviews and evaluate internal and external design change requests to meet product requirements
YOUR PROFILE :
You have proven your management or leadership skills in similar roles before
You have experience with agile project management approaches
You have an entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality
You are an open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
You like to think "out of the box"
You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using English as primary language but also German as a communication language
Master’s Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Robotics or equivalent related fields
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in successfully working in the field of optic Systems
Solid skills on developing and implementing in C / C++ and MATLAB
