The Country HR Manager is a strategic and operational HR position that supports the Country Manager and the Country Management Team.

The position leads, directs, coordinates and controls all HR related matters within the country organisation. The Country HR Manager translates the corporate, divisional and country business strategy into HR related initiatives and coordinates HR related processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Coaches and supports the management team members in the country organization in all HR related matters
  • Leads a team of six HR specialists
  • Is very knowledgeable in at least three of the following focus areas : People Development, Comp & Ben, Organizational Development, Talent Attraction, HR Operations
  • Is part of the Country HR network (Swiss HR Board) representing RUAG Space in Switzerland
  • Facilitates and coordinates succession planning, people portfolio and leadership programs
  • Supports in international assignments and trainings (immigration, social security, taxes)
  • Coaches and supports the country in the PMR cycle : target setting, bonus programs, feedback, target evaluation, salary round
  • Provides relevant HR analytics to the management team such as employee statistics and HR KPI s
  • Acts as a coach in organizational design and culture
  • Your profile

  • Academic or appropriate higher education background
  • Leadership experience in HR or in a line organization
  • Experience from the industry / technology sector
  • Proven track record from change management within different contexts
  • Ability to coach managers on senior and executive level in a changing environment
  • Strong communication and ability to manage and act in an international matrix
  • Able to handle all HR related processes and tools in an international environment
  • Solide knowledge of Swiss specific requirements related to labor law and social security in all facets
  • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work hands on in combination with strategic work
  • True passion for culture and international environments
