In this position you lead and develop the team of powertrain software engineers and assure that the members of the team fully fulfill their roles, work efficiently and achieve targets.
Furthermore, you analyze and provide innovative technical solutions and collaborate globally with peers. You are mainly responsible for the following tasks :
Lead and manage the team of 8 engineers plus external consultants to meet the predefined targets with focus on the global software responsibility for our converters
Define team-objectives, carry out development reviews with all team members, create development plans and coach team members to achieve their objectives and grow their competencies and skills
Support the upper management in planning, budgeting and controlling processes
Drive adoption of state-of-the-art development and management practices, processes and tools; ensure continuous improvements
Ensure collaboration and know-how transfer within your field of expertise worldwide

For this challenging position you bring the following qualifications :
University degree in electrical engineering or computer science
Leadership experience of at least 2 years
Sound expertise in control technology, ideally in power electronics
Several years of experience in embedded software development in a real-time environment as well as profound knowledge of C, C++, real-time operating systems
Very good German and good English language skills
