The Senior Specialist, Master Data Management, is part of the EMEA Supply Planning Execution team and supports all requirements to ensure accurate, timely and compliant Master data creation, maintenance and related activities in SAP ECC and SAP APO.
The Master Data Management team performs various checks, analyses and interacts with stakeholders across all Supply chain functions &
other work streams such as Finance, Procurement, etc. Continuous improvement and end-to-end thinking to support the business is an inherent part of this role.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to :
Lead / coach Master data team (approx. 2-4 people)
Support in various supply chain projects interacting with all SCM areas
Governance of global data standards when entering data into the system and when necessary apply country-specific and plant-
specific data standards
Maintenance of Material Master data, Support data activities in ECC and APO
Knowledge of Financial Supply Chain flows, contact with Intercompany for new flows
Support for SAP rollouts including data build, testing, implementation and hyper care
Understanding of master data parameter in ECC and APO to improve business (planning / inventory / forecasting / IQV)
Oversee the material master data Change Control process which includes pre-approval and post-approval activities in a timely manner
Monitor data, analyze reports and track specific activity to ensure records are synchronized
Perform pro-active data accuracy checks, analysis and interact with all streams throughout the whole process to ensure compliant master data
Address and escalate bottleneck situations
Report out, Develop and Improve KPI for Master Data area
Accountable for driving continuous improvements to increase efficiency, data quality and accuracy
Bachelor degree in Business Management or a related field such as Manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain is preferred
Minimum 4 year experience, preferably in pharmaceutical environment
Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Data
Demonstrated experience and competence with Supply Chain processes
Highly organized profile, proactive and problem solving mindset
Strong English communication skills written and verbally
Awareness of business and industry dynamics and regulations
Capable of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Strong SAP and MS Office experience
Experience in Supply Chain Environment as Information / Master data, Supply Network Planning, Distribution or Manufacturing processes is mandatory
APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate, collaborate and influence and lead a team of around 2-4 people
Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving project conflicts
