Support our Level 2 support team for incident resolution that they cannot handle by themselves
Support and assist the business users in application handling
Analyze and resolve issues reported by the L2 support team or business users
Plan and work with other IT organizations for maintenance and upgrade activities
Liaise with the product vendor in case issues cannot be resolved internally
Proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation and operating an effective control environment
Assist in system design and implementation as part of a project team
You'll be part of the global C&ORC IT organization which is formed from the IT functions supporting Compliance & Operational Risk Control, and Group Internal Audit businesses. Work location is Zürich.
In recent years, regulatory requirements for firms in the financial services industry have become more comprehensive and complex.
Litigations are continuously on the rise, violations are being vigorously investigated and a number of firms have faced highly publicized and expensive sanctions.
As a result, C&ORC IT has a number of bank-wide initiatives focused on ensuring these complex regulatory requirements are satisfied.
Additionally, these initiatives help minimize the firm's risk exposure and provide robust tools to reduce cost and facilitate productivity improvements
Your experience and skills
You have :
proven track record as L3 support engineer in complex IT environments
good know-how on IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Windows, Oracle, Firewall, File transfer, SAN / NAS, networking, system monitoring, Active Directory, CA, 2FA (siteminder) and messaging (Exchange, Actiance / Vantage, Postfix)
Strong and detailed technical understanding of the ZL UA application; both technically as well as from user point of view, would be a major plus
experience in scripting using PowerShell
strong interpersonal and communication skills; very well-versed in asking the right questions and transferring the answers into appropriate system designs and task lists
a strong focus on delivery to the business
experience in systems design and deployment procedures in a large organization
good understanding of e-Communication archiving- as well as compliance monitoring & supervision systems

experienced in working as part of a large organization with globally spread teams
capable of working within a team, on his or her own, and as a L3 support person with responsibilities spanning across different regions and varying resource groups and stakeholders
used to take a holistic approach, taking ownership of the all technical aspects of an issue
well versed with configuration management, source code management, software release processes and ITIL framework
fluent English speaking and writing
