The Manager Global Congresses and Events is responsible for project managing Nobel Biocare's own events and the company's participation at trade shows, from planning to execution and follow up.
The responsibility also covers internal events.
The responsibility includes :
Planning, coordinating and implementing event concepts and marketing campaigns / activities of highest quality to increase market visibility and market appearance
Stric adherence of the project budgt
Coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, contractors and equipment hire
Managing and negotiating with event agencies and suppliers
Scheduling workshops and lectures in proximity to the event
Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings
Launch readiness : plan and coordinate that all product and concept launches are properly integrated at the event planning, execution and follow-up tracking activities
Development of marketing / communication plans and material for each event e.g. e-mailing, brochures, leaflets, videos, templates, social media, event applications etc and coordination via GMT
Ensure that all marketing and communication for and at an event have a clear "Call To Action"
Transformative marketing (TFM) / lead management : consistent lead and data capture at events, integrated data into sales force, provide markets with follow-
up measures and provide consistent track of lead data
Setting, maintaining and measure ROI targets for each event project
Liaising with local market, requesting and implementing their input, feedback and requests
Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event
Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event
Post-event evaluation : customer's surveys, business objectives, budget and lead management
Best practice sharing within own event department and other marketing stakeholders
Takes on sub project responsibilities for large scale projects and coaches subsidiaries on the implementation of standardized operating procedures (Blue Book) for event projects.
Is responsible for maintaining the process and tasks related to speaker management, issuing contracts and coaching team members on the standardized operating procedures.
Implements and strictly adheres to the Danaher compliance rules and regulations.
Must be willing to travel internationally up to 20% of full work time.
3-5 years+ experience in managing corporate events and congresses on an international level, if possible in the healthcare industrywith >
Experience in negotiating and working with vendors from the event industry (AV, booth builders, registration, communication)
Proven background in medical or pharmaceutical industry a strong advantage
Excellent organizational skills and time management
