On the ball? In order to support our Sustainability & Diversity Department, FIFA is looking to recruit an Accessibility & Diversity Manager Your duties

  • Leading the planning, coordination and implementation of FIFA’s work in the field of accessibility and contributing to further promoting diversity within FIFA as an organisation and its activities (in particular the FIFA World Cup), in collaboration with the human rights and anti-
  • discrimination areas, as part of the human rights working group

  • Managing requirements, and analysing bids, preparations and operations on diversity and accessibility in connection with the FIFA World Cups
  • Managing a stakeholder engagement process on the topics of accessibility and diversity
  • Coordinating with other departments to integrate the promotion of accessibility and diversity into FIFA’s policies and processes
  • Ensuring that appropriate grievance and remedy mechanisms are in place to enable the remediation of any adverse impacts with regard to diversity with which FIFA is involved (alignment with human rights systems)
  • Establishing productive working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and advising other FIFA departments on promoting accessibility and diversity through their operations
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of accessibility and diversity-related meetings, workshops and site visits
  • Our requirements

  • University degree in social sciences, human rights, equality, diversity or international relations
  • Minimum of seven years of work experience in accessibility and diversity matters in the private sector or civil society organisations
  • Minimum of three years of experience in project management
  • Experience in managing capacity-building programmes and producing training materials is a plus
  • Experience with the management of complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Proficiency in English. Further languages (in particular German, Spanish, French, Arabic) are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness to undertake some work-related travel
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and relationship-building skills
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic and realistic with the ability to prioritise and focus on key projects and responsibilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive and autonomous
