We're looking for one of our client a Performance analyst Europe in Basel To support their European Commercial Organisation.

Mission :

  • Produce Monthly Reports with insight
  • Analysis and actions required to drive sales and fixed costs performance
  • Track Sales Performance during month and assist Sales Managers with open order portfolio, Key Action Plans and Gap closure actions to achieve month’s result
  • Review Commercial Fixed Costs on a monthly basis and investigate variances
  • Ensure regular reporting from internal systems (e.g. Channel Tracking results, Biz at Risk reports, Sales History and highlight any issues for corrective action)
  • Establish a Regional Scorecard with KPI's to include Key Sales Measures (e.g. Volume, Sales, Margins, Variance Analysis ), identify key criteria, reporting frequency and measure with monthly update
  • Participate to European strategic projects and provide business analysis (Customer, Pricing, Sales analysis, Contracts )
  • Act as key European contact person to Global projects to ensure successful implementation eg.
  • Pricing initiatives, new IT tools / systems
  • Assist with regular reviews and updates of Process Documentation (SOX internal Audits) and ensure remediation for any controls deemed ineffective
  • Act as contact person for external auditors
  • Set Up rebate, commission and agreements in SAP, manage accruals on regular basis and adjust as necessary liaising with Sales for adjustments
  • Support Local Sales by setting standards, ways of working, training in tools to up skill capability and ensure that the price increase is in line with guidelines
  • Ensure all Sales Contracts are centrally listed and validated and ensure compliance with SOX, SBE and Legal requirements
  • Requirements :

  • Degree in Finance & Controlling and at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position within an international and multicultural environment
  • Proven understanding of business activities, reporting and operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented with capacity to see the big picture
  • Team player attitude with the capability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written English, any other European language is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP are requested
