PATH is currently recruiting a on the Global Health Programs management team to provide support to the Strategy function of the PATH presence in Europe.

Key responsibility will be to liaise with PATH’s program teams and Business Development team to support business development activities including, but not limited to building relationship with partners and donors, creating concept notes and proposals, decks and program strategy documents to support business development effort.

He / she will be reporting to the director of country programs, catering to all programs, including Global Health Programs, Essential Medicines, Technology Development and Introduction and Global Engagement.

He / she will have strong interactions with the global Business Development Team.

Business development

  • Identify opportunities and build relationships with European donors and partners in line with priorities identified in the Business development strategy
  • In partnership with technical teams, develop proposals and concept notes.
  • Create decks and documents to support business development / resource mobilization activities
  • Actively track upcoming opportunities with traditional and non-traditional donors
  • Create and maintain pipeline tracking sheet for Geneva-based business development
  • Contribute to donor reports and short update notes on projects.
  • Synthesize insights from operations, program data, and from interaction with stakeholders.
  • Conduct landscape analysis for proposal development as required
  • Maintain opportunities in salesforce
  • Manage CRM inputs for European engagement
  • Strategy and Representation

  • Represent PATH with partners and donors in line with global programs and country priorities
  • Periodically review European landscape and action plans
  • Monitor donor and partners trends in Europe
  • Support programs in developing European business development plans
  • Work closely with teams on key events such as WHO EB and World Health Assembly
  • Represent PATH in preparation of the Geneva Health Forum 2020
  • Any other representation as requested by the Director of country programs or the Director of Business Development
  • Required Experience

    Required skills and experience :

  • 4-6 years’ of work experience in the development sector
  • Experience of writing technical proposals and process documentation in public health sector.
  • Master’s degree in management, public health or other relevant areas
  • Strong mastery of MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and French, knowledge of other European languages will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, coordination, supportive supervision and monitoring.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Switzerland.
