Your role

Are you trustworthy in driving the business and our function forward? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly and how to solve problems?

We’re looking for someone like that who can provide business-related services and business management support in our Risk Control GWM function :

Provide support to the Chief Risk Officer GWM (CRO) on strategy related topics and tasks e.g. strategy execution, communication etc.

Support the functional Governance by organizing and providing support to the CRO GWM Management Committee; including agenda setting, planning, logistics and provision of documents as well as coordinating other submissions

Provide support to operational and strategic financial planning / control and workforce planning; monitoring of spend, tracking headcount, monthly forecast support etc.

Act as functional entry point for other GRC functions, our GWM business partners or other key stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Business Risk etc.

Provide central support of various nature such as workforce / people agenda or financials related to the GWM Lombard Portfolio Underwriters / the direct reports of the CRO

Prepare presentations / documents and provide central business management support to the GWM CRO Senior Management team for their interactions / meetings

Plan and organize functional events such as Town Halls, off-sites etc.

Support internal communication, maintain and evolve functional Intranet pages and guidelines

Provide support to special projects in GWM CRO as well as ad-hoc support of various nature

Your team

You’ll be working in the Zurich based Business and Financial Management team which is part of the Chief Administration Office (CAO), supporting the CRO in his extensive mandate.

We are a small, committed and dynamic team of professionals supporting the GWM business aligned Control Function.

Your experience and skills

You have :

a university degree (Bachelor in Economics, Finance, Business Administration), or similar

experience in a similar role (or are committed to a career / role change); experience in risk is a plus

the ability to work independently and proactively in a competitive environment

the ability to collaborate well within the team and across teams / layers, you are a team player and like open dialogue and exchange

advanced / sound judgement skills and are able to provide challenge in order to e.g. improve processes

strong numerical / analysis skills

You are :

very well organized and know how to prioritize

detail-oriented with a flair to understand the larger context

an excellent communicator able to communicate effectively, including vis-à-vis Senior Management

flexible, open and can cope with pressure

able to work at at least advanced level with MS Office suite especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel

fluent in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
