We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to drive the Global Ferinject Renal Marketing at our Headquarter in Zürich.

You will report directly to the Ferinject Cardio / Nephro Lead and act as an interface with operating affiliates, distributers and partners to coordinate and foster the implementation of the Global Strategic and Operational Plans.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following :

  • Support the development of the Global Ferinject Renal brand strategy and plan
  • Facilitate hand-over of plans to the affiliates / partners for local adaptation
  • Collect input from and review country brand plans with affiliates
  • Support the Global Commercial Operations team during the development of country strategic and operational brand plans
  • Develop and implement HQ promotional activities (master detail aids, brand messaging, brand book, supporting materials etc.)
  • Collect affiliate & business partner input for development of global marketing activities
  • Responsible for budget phasing and ensure accurate cost tracking according to phasing
  • Collaborate with global medical / marketing peer group and cross-functional teams on joint projects
  • Responsible for successfully conducting international congresses
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange on marketing measures during workshops or country meetings
  • Manage external vendors
  • Collect competitive information from affiliates, business partners and other sources
  • The successful candidate holds a degree in a scientific field and preferably an MBA. Additionally, the candidate brings the following knowledge and experience :

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, ideally minimum 3 years in a multinational pharmaceutical company
  • Experience in a previous product manager position (at least at country level, preferably internationally / globally) and ideally 1-
  • 3 years in a pharmaceutical sales representative position

  • Financial and budgeting skills and experience
  • Documented track record of product launches
  • Preferably experience in Cardiology and Nephrology therapeutic areas
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships in matrix structures
  • Experience in working in an international environment and in influencing across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, ability keeping the overview, simplifying complex processes and organising people and activities to achieve results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent user of Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are goal oriented, have a winning personality and act in a confident manner. You demonstrate high intrinsic motivation and ambition, but at the same time you are a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

    You work effectively under pressure; adapting to new situations and dealing with ambiguity are no issue for you. You like to challenge the status quo, have an entrepreneur mindset and a can do attitude.

    You demonstrate intuition to recognise market changes and opportunities, anticipate future industry trends and opportunities while proactively developing plans to addresses these and communicate to senior management.

    You have strong organisation and time management skills, serving as a role model for completing tasks and delivering on commitments in a timely manner.
