Approximately 200.000 ABB turbochargers are in operation across the globe on ships, power stations, gen-sets, diesel locomotives and large, off-

highway vehicles. We have over 100 Service Stations in more than 50 countries worldwide. We are looking to appoint an experienced Digital Project Manager, who is responsible for overseeing the execution of cloud and service focused projects with the support of ABB and / or third-

party resources. Do you combine well-developed PM skills with the ability to implement projects in accordance with company procedures and applicable quality standards?

Do you have a proven track record when it comes to meeting cost and scheduling targets? In our Digital Services team, we need committed professionals to deliver the next generation of ABB digital services.

Our projects are time bound and feature critical, meaning we need a professional comfortable shaping and managing software development teams.

Tasks :

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate digital service projects and ensure key deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards
  • Working with prototyping teams to shape business requirements, define value, and ensuring that a useful user experience is created
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects and track execution in close collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Manage project communication, report project performance versus target, and present intelligible data on expected business outcome
  • Supervise and guide a team that is assigned to the project, in addition to coaching and developing team members for the purpose of achieving best-in-class standards
  • Work in close cooperation with different stakeholders to define project documents, including plans regarding scope, finances, schedules, and risk management
  • Ensure that all aspects relating to claims management are covered in accordance with contractual agreements
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields (or comparable qualifications and work experience)
  • At least 3 year’ experience in project management with significant project budget, complexity, and risk exposure
  • Well-developed analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent command of English (written / spoken), preferably also German
