As a Microbiome Science Lead , reporting to the Head of Translational Research, you will select and promote scientific discoveries with high translational value (from internal or external research), and facilitate their translation into development opportunities / product concepts or services.
In this role, you will both propose develop a research strategy in microbiome based interventions for different health benefits (GI Health, allergy metabolic disease) , and execute approved projects and initiatives, working closely with the NHSc business categories (especially Novel Therapeutic Nutrition and Prometheus).
Your strong network and Nestlé R&D and external research partners will facilitate this task. Key responsibilities

Impactful communication and negotiation skills are strong assets for this role as well as being a self-starter, able to drive things in a full autonomy, demonstrating a natural can-
do attitude, capability to deal with risk and ambiguity but still able to take fast decisions when critical. Your ability to focus on metrics and execution are key elements.
