Reporting to the Internal Communications Director, the candidate will support the department's key objective of fostering a culture that supports and drives behaviors aligned with business strategy by effectively communicating the organization’s vision, values and culture.
The candidate will have advanced-level competency in internal communications and be able to develop comprehensive communication plans with minimal support.
This role is responsible for managing an editorial team of 5 people. The key focus will be to define the cross-channel editorial strategy and yearly strategic content plan.
In addition, the candidate will lead the weekly editorial meeting and serve as editor-in-chief across all channels, including oversight of JTI's corporate magazine.
An excellent writer with a journalistic approach, the candidate must also have strong people management experience.
The candidate will also work closely with the Director to further enhance the leadership communication program which aims to connect employees globally with JTI's overall ambition and purpose, and help them understand their role and contribution to its success.
Previous experience working with senior leaders is essential.
Excellent attention to detail, a passion for people and their stories, as well as well as strong project management skills are absolutely necessary.

Oversee the timely and quality production of INSIDE Magazine, including its continued enhancement; define quarterly themes, editorial plans and content with the magazine editor-in-chief.
