  • In this position you will support the team by delivering high-quality services in the topical areas of data management, including data protection, bank client confidentiality, records management and outsourcing, to the team and to partners across the Bank
  • You will act as a key person for assessing and advising on a cross-divisional and functional basis with respect to the processing of personal, customer or other relevant data, in line with applicable Swiss laws and regulations and Credit Suisse policies
  • Follow and analyze Swiss legal and regulatory developments concerning data management topics
  • You will take care of drafting and reviewing relevant policy language as well as support in regard to the negotiation and drafting of agreements regarding data processing and confidentiality
  • Develop, maintain and update internal databases, as well as know-how regarding Swiss data-management topics
  • As a representative of the bank you cooperate and work collaboratively with General Counsel colleagues and the Group Data Protection Organisation
  • You can help with designing and implementing changes to specific internal work processes

  • You Offer

  • A sound legal background with at least six years professional experience as a lawyer, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of data protection laws in Switzerland, with knowledge of GDPR being beneficial
  • You possess excellent legal and analytical skills and exercise of judgment with high ethical and control standards
  • You also possess strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and time management skills which enables you to quickly gain trust and build up effective relationships
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and a can-do attitude who excels at handling multiple challenging priorities and assignments independently carrying them through to successful completion
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate very clearly both orally and in writing in German and English
  • You have experience working in an international multi-cultural and dynamic environment which will enable you to contribute to the team’s success
