While managing a project oriented spend you will support the company’s procurement strategy and processes.
As a Project Purchasing Manager Plastics you will be responsible for the following scope of duties :
Taking supportive part in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies as well as changing strategic plans related to the prevailing projects
Specification adaption (direct material) on the foundation of project needs
Analysis of purchasing needs communicated by the project officer & the launch of sourcing initiatives where needed as well as the related support in the evaluation of suppliers
Tactical execution of changing sourcing strategies & reactions to conditions that have an impact on the project
Close cooperation with stakeholders and departments like engineering and R&D
Producing reports, statistics and calculations for report to substantial hierarchy levels
You are distinguished by the following characteristics :
A technical apprenticeship in combination with a further education in procurement or equal
Primarily 2 - 3 years of practical experience within the fields of purchasing Plastics
A striking ability to convert entrepreneurial behavior within a variable and open company environment
Very good communication skills referring to strong negotiation skills with international suppliers
Outsized German & English skills at a business level (spoken and written)
