We are looking for our Head HR Services and Operations with direct reporting line to Corporate Head HR.
The HR Services and Operations team, newly created, is responsible for ensuring that candidates and employees have a magical experience beginning on their first day and throughout their career at Vontobel, aligning with our culture and values.
The team focuses on providing customer service in relation to general HR support and implementing innovative and scalable processes to make HR easy and useful.
Your responsibilities :
Lead, inspire and develop a team of HR Generalists to design and deliver effective customer / user support across HR processes, and act as active member of the HR leadership team
Create a long-term vision for the team, aligned and integrated strategy with other HR initiatives and contributing to broader HR strategy
Lead or collaborate on cross-functional projects aimed at designing and implementing strategic and operational solutions for complex HR Problems
Manage and operate HR processes and services to increase efficiency and customer experience
Drive HR policy implementations, communication and maintenance
Analyze data, highlight trends and insights to influence business decisions
Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with various internal and external partners to identify solutions and scope out and implement changes
Team responsibilities :
Act as one point of contact for employees : support and address queries from employees, internal clients and partners around HR processes and policies, internal HR systems and other programs.
Identify trends in employee queries and propose solutions to make user journeys simpler and add to a positive employee experience
Assume responsibility for operations, and continuous improvement of : recruiting support from roles posting, candidates screening, and scheduling interviews, to offer -
and recruiting of interns, fixed terms, and junior rolesfull employee lifecycle : contract generations and amendments, onboarding, leaves, work certificates, exits, further education, maintenance of employee filessupporting the Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in maintaining and delivering global HR processes, incl.
data maintenance and reporting
Report and analyze process metrics and outline trends and solutions to business problems
Support team members and clients in operationalizing new policies or requirements across Vontobel
Focus on client experience, provide timely responses, share knowledge and experiences with fellow team members
Your qualifications :
Proven track record in business process analysis, policy / program design, operations management and HR
Passion for leading teams and successful management and mentorship experience
Experience in customer / user service or operations environment
Proven track record in project management, and designing and implementing new processes, and getting things done effectively and efficiently
Thorough understanding and affinity to technology
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, be diplomatic and influence stakeholders
Strong internal client facing skills with a flexible communication style and the ability to communicate complex concepts and analytics in a structured manner
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a complex environment with exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with capability to process high amount of data to drive business strategies and decisions
Fluency, written and spoken, in English and German
