Tasks :

  • Identify and attract new business for instrumentation products used in process engineering, in addition to establishing a network to secure future projects
  • Conduct systematic market, opportunity, and competitive analyses in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
  • Find and pursue sales opportunities and negotiate terms and conditions before successfully closing deals
  • Advise customers on issues relating to products and applications, in addition to representing the company at trade shows as well as regional, product, and customer events
  • Attend to existing customer base in primary fields of power plants, chemical industry, water supply and food & beverage industry
  • Initiate service deployments, monitor customer satisfaction, and acquire new service contracts
  • Requirements :

  • Degree in Electrical, Utility, or Mechanical Engineering or in Business Administration & Engineering
  • Several years' work experience in a sales role
  • Knowledge of instrumentation technology and process engineering is of advantage
  • Fluent command of German sound knowledge of English
  • Strong customer focus and finely honed communication skills, underpinned by ability to negotiate effectively in challenging situations
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland (especially German-speaking part) and occasionally to Germany
  • This position can be performed in Home Office
