Saint Louis University invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Ph.D. required in Mathematics or a related area. The department seeks candidates with outstanding potential in both research and teaching, who will contribute to the overall strength of the department.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to enhance established research groups at SLU. The department is especially interested in candidates whose research program also has an applied or computational component.

Our department currently consists of twenty-six faculty members whose research areas include algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, and statistics.
The department has undergraduate majors in mathematics and data science, and offers graduate master's and doctoral degrees in mathematics.
