The Enterprise Planning Excellence team sits within the broader Strategy & Deployment organization and works closely with Product Supply, Value Chain, and the Segments.
The Planning Excellence team is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Planning, developing capabilities (People, Process, Technology, Metrics) and ensuring effective deployment of these within the segments to drive competitive advantage, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and optimize working capital whilst keeping our customers’ needs central to what we do.

Lead and support critical elements of the Enterprise Planning strategy, act as a key enabler to unlock value and deliver the enterprise outcomes, and drive the Plan Pillar s maturity through Capability building, focusing on both process and people elements.
Ensure that as the planning environment evolves and we layer on more advanced technology, the team can support the Plan community through clear communications and aligned talent and training needs.
Provide support for the timely, efficient execution of Enterprise Planning initiatives across the businesses and work closely with segment resources to ensure alignment of critical programs with the global Plan vision and strategy, ensuring value creation across all initiatives.
Embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement across the sectors by conceptualizing strategy work into execution across the Supply Chain.
Support all project management activities in alignment with Enterprise Planning Excellence and Office of Strategy & Deployment Project Management Office (PMO) requirements.
Leverage a deep understanding of segment planning needs to define current and future planning capability needs.
Create content for Plan capability development and support execution / adoption through key programs.
Develop and deploy talent and training strategies to support the Plan community with today’s needs, while preparing for the future of planning.
Work closely with Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain (JJSC) Academy to ensure integration to JJSC standards and to identify new learning modalities to support Plan education.
Execute a robust Plan communications strategy to create visibility to key Plan initiatives, to develop a clear Plan identity, and to instill a Plan Community mindset.
Execute change management strategies to ensure the success of critical Plan initiatives, considering the complexity of the Plan Environment.
Benchmark, both internally and externally, to drive continuous improvement and alignment to Supply Chain planning best practices.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, Supply Chain certification (e.g. APICS, IBF) is preferred.
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant Supply Chain experience is required.
At least two (2) years of Supply Chain Planning experience is required.
Strong background / experience in Supply Chain Planning processes is required.
Experience executing communications strategies is preferred.
Knowledge or experience executing training programs is preferred.
Working knowledge of change management concepts and methodologies is preferred.
Relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector / cross-industry experience is preferred.
Experience in project management and executing process improvement initiatives within Planning or other Supply Chain functions are required.
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships is required.
Proficiency in English language (oral / written) and using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
This position will be based in Bridgewater, NJ or Zug, Switzerland and requires up to twenty percent (20%) of domestic and international travel.
