The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for a product portfolio of launched (after TG6) products. He / she manages the portfolio through its lifecycle (Growth, Maturity, Decline Phase) and ensures revenue maximization.

To maximize revenue, he / she translates Nobel Biocare corporate strategy, results from business analysis and customer feedback into action plans, positioning and regional expansion strategies.

He / she is responsible to track and report revenue achievement and initiate measures with global and local marketing and sales organization to achieve the revenue and growth targets.

He / she will serve as the internal and external enthusiast for the product offering, working with the global marketing and local sales organization to promote the portfolio across regions and with key customers.

Product portfolio :

Identifies gaps in the product portfolio based on customer and market segmentation, VOC (e.g. expert team meetings) and market trends.

Provides input to the overall product portfolio strategy on an annual basis following the PPM process frame work and elaborates business cases for portfolio enhancements and innovations.

Initiates phase-out of products.

Works with external 3rd parties to assess partnerships & licensing opportunities.

Messaging / Positioning / Pricing

Reviews and adapts product positioning, value proposition and pricing throughout product lifecycle based on competitive environment and overall portfolio strategy.

Ensures that content of T&E and marketing documents (online & offline) is up to date. Initiates creation of new communication material (e.

g. attack pack against competition) based on demand of local sales organization.

Establishes and maintains competitive overview.

Geographical expansion :

Responsible for geographical rollout of portfolio by ensuring launch readiness of late markets. Planning & Analysis

Periodical sales tracking and follow-up with local sales organization for root cause analysis in case of budget deviations.

Clear understanding of global, regional and local dynamics affecting sales. Performs yearly budget and sales planning process.

Cross Functional Influence Management :

Works closely with Global Sales & Customer Development, T&E, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

Identifies, briefs and manages key internal / external speakers for PR and media events

  • Proven track record in previous product management / marketing role within dental / medical devices field to successfully bring new innnovation to the market and to manage a portfolio
  • 5+ years of marketing / product management experience or similar
  • Proven management and project management experience (budget / timing / leadership)
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Good networker. Able to work cross functionally and cross regionally in a dynamic environment
  • Structured and professional worker
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30-40%)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Diplomatic skills and representative appearance
  • Strong, convincing, trustworthy and highly ethical person
  • Team player with excellent teamwork skills
  • Work experience in international environment
  • Solid education in Marketing or Product Management
  • BA / BSc or equivalent, MA / MSc is an advantage
