We are now looking for a Head of Events & Experiences, based in Philip Morris International, Lausanne Switzerland to join the Global Events team whose purpose is to get closer to our consumers through exposure, experience and excitement.

You will be responsible for defining the whole strategy of identification of new events and opportunities to deliver & optimize the right experience of the company objectives for a smoke free future in addition to managing partnership with right holders or other companies in order to create emotional connection and amplification of the consumer journey.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Implementing a creative global events and experiences strategy
  • Creation of a completely new event concepts and experiences portfolio
  • Thorough planning and project management
  • Extensive network and ability to create new relationships
  • Passion and curious of the partnership scope and vision into untapped areas of opportunity
  • Using extensive consumer behaviors and exploitation for the purpose of the strategy and vision
  • Strong Focus on return of investment and accurate use of resources available
  • Strong and pleasant negotiator
  • Lead and inspire effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration We'd like you to have :
  • Extensive experience allowing to lead strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge & finger on the pulse in experiential marketing, events marketing, retail marketing, or equivalent fields.
  • Strong creative portfolio of past events or experiences, e.g.
  • brand experience centers, retail spaces, influencer events like SXSW / CES, museum exhibits, food / gourmet, music festivals etc

  • Able to flex across different types of events, from low-budget community pop-ups, to highly immersive physical experiences.
  • Also able to flex to different audiences including consumers, partners, press, policy makers, etc

  • Very creative and out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Constantly pushing the boundaries to come up with novel, refreshing, yet still highly strategic experiential ideas

  • Very strong eye for brand and design.
  • Able to work collaboratively with designers and agencies, integrating the digital and physical world to deliver a rich experience

  • Highly seasoned project manager and events planner.
  • Extremely organized and resourceful, with very strong attention to detail.
