In order to complete our team, the Faculty of Social and Political sciences, is looking for a Senior Lecturer Type 1
Area of specialiation : Contemporary international history.
Expected start date in position : 01.08.2019
Contract length : 6 years renewable
Five hours a week of teaching throughout the year, four in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (SSP) and one for the College of Humanities (CDH) at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), aimed at a non-specialist audience :
The post-holder will work on her / his own research on contemporary international history in relation to political science and will produce high-
quality academic publications.
S / he must be able to work cooperatively within the Institute of Political, Historical and International Studies (IEPHI).
S / he will seek external funding, in particular from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
Administrative responsibilities (5%)
In accordance with statutory requirements and in the name of collegiality, the post-holder will take on any administrative tasks that may be assigned to them by the Institute, Faculty, University or university decision-making bodies.
