As Project Planning Manager, you will be the interface between the engineering department and the project managers and instrumental for the success of the projects in our product group.

Tasks :

  • Analyze project requirements together with stakeholders in Engineering and Project Management, draw up feasible schedules, and implement integrated scheduling process along project chain
  • Maintain close dialogue with Project Managers with regard to resource planning and reporting of projected and actual workload
  • Monitor progress of projects, analyze and evaluate critical paths, define appropriate action plans in case of deviations, and ensure effective implementation
  • Identify and assess priority and impact of project risks (e.g., relating to schedule) and develop mitigation strategies with Project Managers
  • Issue progress reports and program updates on a regular basis and as requested by customers and stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate appropriate information to customers and stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding
  • Contribute to the development of the ToolSuite and its implementation (training, user support, localize templates)
  • Perform regular monthly project administrative tasks
  • Participate in project reviews, compute reports and update all assigned data.
  • Requirements :

  • Vocational qualifications in a technical or commercial field or Bachelor degree
  • Work experience in a technical / engineering environment
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Proficiency in the use of SAP, MS Project and MS Office (proficiency in the use of Primavera is considered as an asset)
  • Professional level in English and German, other languages as an asset
  • Positive mindset and able to work under pressure
  • Very good analytical skills and the ability to work in a highly structured and organized manner
  • Team spirit and well-developed communication skills as well as the ability to work within an interdisciplinary environment.
