As Industrialization Manager you will be accountable for the Industrialization of all product on the Fribourg site. Your role will be to interface and coordinate with a wide range of business functions across the site to ensure that across the entire lifecycle the product recurring cost assumed in the business case is met or improved.
The main responsibilities are to :
Lead the proper industrialization, from concept to steady production, for all new products, as part of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) process and the applicable industrialization process.
Responsible to achieve Recurring Costs (RC) on a defined product as defined and agreed by program.
Support bid phase and proposal efforts by coordinating engineering and production efforts to provide RC estimation
Report monthly on the progress of the Industrialization and the QCD KPIs
Train and coach leaders / contributors on industrialization tools and processes
Liaise with senior management to identify, plan and execute industrialization objectives for new products as well as product improvements’
Master of in Science in Engineering or Manufacturing, or equivalent degree
5 years experience in manufacturing or industrialization engineering (Automotive or Aerospace is of advantage)
Excellent project management, leadership skills : Planning and organizing, prioritizing, coordinate and facilitate projects, delegate tasks, drive activities to completion, take responsibility, effective decision maker
Exposure (product engineering and / or manufacturing processes) of electronic systems and manufacturing concepts of advantage
Excellent communication, presentation & facilitation skills
French fluent, good command (spoken & written) of English required
