A challenging position for you by being part of the First Line Control Unit (FLCU) management team and lead a team of specialist in charge of the MICOS controls covering the whole IWM, based in the heart of Zurich
A key position in which you deepen experience in risk management topics related to Private Banking Business such as AML / KYC (Client documentation, Flow of Funds etc.
Suitability & Appropriateness (Product and Client Risks), Cross Border (travel & non-travel activities, CB Manual, Licenses, etc.) and Fraud Prevention
Your responsibility will be to lead a team in charge with the preparation and performance of all existing Operations Control Tasks (MICOS), discuss the result and root causes with the SME and communicate it to senior management and supporting them in the definition of remediation actions
You will also be responsible to support the division with further developments of Supervisory Controls and with the interactions to all Market Area Heads in IWM and support FLCU Head with the communication to the Market Area Heads and presentation to the Risk Committee Meetings
You will also closely work with Divisional and BA FLDS and the various Subjects Matters Experts (SME) who are in charge of (i) further develop the control framework and (ii) identify risk patterns based on control results prior to the discussion with internal stakeholders.
The chance for you to assist in the maintenance and development of the bank’s control framework and provide support in or even lead risk management and quality assurance projects
A University degree or banking apprenticeship completed with a higher education is what you can present
You gathered a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a financial institution, preferably in the risk management, audit or compliance area;
knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back process would be an advantage
You possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape
You bring good process review / risk assessment skills with an understanding of risks and impacts in a banking environment
Independent judgment with strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills is what you can contribute
You have a sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and proactively; you are a good teammate with a can-
do attitude and problem solving skills
Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team, with management and stakeholders is your demonstrated ability
You show excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills and have a good knowledge of Front tools
You are fluent in English; any other European markets relevant languages are beneficial (German, Spanish, Italian or French)
