As Senior Management Accountant (m / f / d) you are in a broad and dynamic global role that partners with Advanced Operations (AO, which forms the interface between R&D and Manufacturing) and Research and Development.
You will own finance responsibilities and be the Key Finance Business Partner to DRE (Digital, Robotics, and Enabling Technologies organization) R&D teams in Europe as well as the Global Hips Business Unit for the Joint Replacement Franchise.
Your key responsibilities
Financial diligence on Capital Expenditure Requests for New Product Introductions
You will lead the FP&A activity for DRE (R&D & AO) in Europe working closely with the R&D and AO DRE teams globallyYou will provide meaningful business insights by project through innovative management reporting to business partners
You will build effective relationships with functional leads.
You will own the standard cost setting process for all New Product Introductions in your area of responsibility
You will perform financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis in support of management decision making and strategy.
You will continuously improve job environment and processes.
You will ensure the fulfilment of all required report-out responsibilities to Finance, R&D and Advanced Operation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements across all international reporting regions
You will support ad hoc analysis
What we are looking for?
A recognised professional accounting qualification and preferably a broad business qualification.
3 Years + post qualification experience working in a multi-national preferably within an FDA regulated industry.
A thorough understanding of accounting and financial principals, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and forecasting.
Working with all disciplines in promoting the development of services, business plans, budget management and cost control.
Demonstrated record of driving change and improvement.
Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed, and meet deadlines.
Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships at all levels both within the organisation and with third parties.
Self-directed and ability to influence across the organisation at multiple levels.
Must be comfortable in a matrix-management environment.
A 'can-do' attitude to all business challenges.
Target driven with proven ability to motivate.
Superior communication skills both quantitative and qualitative.
