Test Engineer for Embedded Software
As part of the R&D team, the software team is responsible for the development of electronic
systems used by the entire group (the largest group in the world in their sector of activity).
You will work within a multidisciplinary and dynamic team responsible for the development
of electronic systems from the design phase through to product completion.
The position
Test the project plan, estimate the test effort and manage the business priorities
Identify the functional requirements and the resources needed
Approve the test plan and the test specifications; take the responsibility for ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in daily meetings to monitor and report on the testing activity progress of the testing teams, including onsite and near-shore contract resources
Identify risk items and dependencies
Lead the issue management meetings
Communicate effectively with the rest of the development team and the management
Adapt and develop the test strategy
Manage automated testing by defining the test environment and the methods used
Skills required
Experience as project leader or technical team leader
Significant experience in debugging or testing
Project experience using the SAFe agile methodology
Experience with programming and scripting (languages such Python, C, C#, Appium etc.)
Self-motivated and a team player
Excellent knowledge of French and English, German knowledge is a plus
