Senior Manager, Client Services, Technical Set Up

How will you make an impact?

The Senior Manager, Project Management Study Set Up, Europe leads a group of specialist project managers that are responsible for the creation of the study in our inventory system (GPM).

They support the client relationship; providing technical expertise and delivering live systems built to client requirements and on time.

Accountable for daily management of specialists across two EU sites, you will drive process alignment to ensure we deliver consistency to our clients.

You will hire and develop our talent to high standards of customer service.

With focus on right first time and achievement of client and internal timescales we will ensure that the team crafts supply chain solutions to meet the requirements of the trial

What will you do?

  • Provision of knowledge and advice on technical aspects of distribution strategy
  • Supervise Key Performance Indicators and apply any countermeasures as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to standards
  • Attracts and retains colleagues. Establishes goals in line with career and organizational development plans with performance appraisal and management
  • Collaborative partner management and developing cross functional organisational relationships
  • own the regular review and updating of SOP’s as required, ensuring colleagues are trained or made aware of any changes and communicating with others who may be impacted by the change
  • Runs daily questions and issues arising from clients or team members and is responsible for ensuring any customer concerns are reported through our Tiered accountability process
  • Proactively contributes to the EU distribution PM function through identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives against the current processes
  • supports formal client business reviews, and site leadership initiatives to provide relevant information including project updates
  • fosters a culture of engagement to provide a highly energised team
  • How will you get here?

  • Ideal candidates will possess an accredited college, university degree or recognised professional qualification or certification preferably in a health-related, science or technology field, project management or supply chain, or the relevant working background
  • Additionally, their skillset includes excellent organizational, planning, verbal, written communication and numerical skills
  • Ability to analyse and define solutions and balance multiple tasks to meet project landmarks
  • Ability to recruit and lead staff to achieve business objectives. Able to prioritize team’s workload and to ensure others meet timescales
  • Strong and effective communicator with the ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of clients or experienced managers
  • Strong customer relationship skills; proactively anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of clients to meet or exceed their expectations
  • Experience with both detail execution and strategic orientation
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to meet customer and department requirements daily
  • High level of team motivation and influencing skills
  • Capable of contributing to the EU management team and of championing business improvement initiatives, possibly in the face of resistance.
