For our client a biotechnology research company in Tolochenaz, we are looking for an individual as

Technical Hardware Product Owner

(Permanent employment, fulltime). The earliest start date is as soon as possible.

  • Co-develop the product vision and contribute to build the technical product roadmap
  • Manage the life cycle of the HW products and/or features from concept to production, not forgetting potential updates and upgrades, and eventual phase out, according to business priority and other teams constraints
  • Partner with the executive team to identify key needed capabilities as well as identifying potential issues to maximize added value for the customer
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure that all capabilities are delivered on time and per expectation, and to manage technical debt and product sustainability
  • Evaluate and monitor product performance to ensure constant product iterations and improvements • Actively participate to IP portfolio maintenance and to new IP filling about hardware innovations
  • Actively participate to the driving of strategic R&D projects
  • Stay up to date to novelties in the field of optical microscopy to identify opportunities and risks, both in Academia and Industry

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in similar position (in the field of Optical Microscopy would be an asset)
  • Master's degree (ideally PhD) in micro-engineering, physics or any other relevant field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Usability and customer-focused design experience is definitely a plus
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
  • Fluent in English is a prerequisite (proficiency in French is a plus)
  • Valid Swiss work permit required
