What you will do
Lead / support the development of strategies and roadmap that enable digitalization and emerging models to boost our business aspirations, and lead / engage in key strategic projects for Group Technology & Operations (GTO)
Partners with Business Unit / Strategic Service Unit to develop and execute a digital / operational strategy that supports our short term and long-term goals.
Advises leadership in defining, organizing, and prioritizing the portfolio of initiatives, including high-priority issues as defined by senior leadership
End-to-end ownership and responsibility for the successful delivery of initiatives, defining top-down and bottom-up approach to identify imperatives & propose ways relative to its goals and objectives
Interacting with Senior Executives and key stakeholders to discuss project outcomes and contribute to the successful implementation of insights achieved, to build organizational capabilities / processes around operational / financial planning and execution
Builds strong relationships with internal key executives and strategy development stakeholders, and external strategic partners.
Assist in the communication of strategic contents to internal and external stakeholders
Keeps informed of external forces impacting the insurance industry that may have an impact on the successful accomplishments of longer-term projects
What you will bring
7+ years’ experience working in tier-1 strategy consulting
Prior experience working in the insurance industry
Seasoned understanding of both insurance business and tech areas
MBA degree or other internationally recognized post graduate degree (business or engineering)
Previous experience in strategic project management as well as in preparing and delivering presentations
Excellent analytical skills, good sensitivity on figures and financial forecast, success stories of solving complex problems and developing creative and structured solutions with substantial value result
Excellent client and service focus, proven ability to quickly acquire an in depth understanding of the new business area and business need
Proven communication and facilitation skills at all organization levels, particularly with senior management and decision-makers from the top levels of the organization
Strong leadership and people management skills
High level of personal initiative and commitment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German / Chinese is an advantage)
