We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner for Treasury. As the IT Product Owner, you will drive the area with IT & Business counterparts to improve and digitize customer experience as well as add new value propositions for our customers & users.

You will ensure the areas economic success, in close collaboration with your global business stakeholders & development team you will drive activities for grooming, implementation and operation of your product.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Product Owner (Finance and Controlling IT), you are responsible for respective IT Solution fall under area Treasury where you need to Plan, Build, Upgrade and Run the complete solution which fits to our IT landscape and also provide operational excellence to our respective business.

Hence, you’ll identify and analyze business requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on business needs and strategic requirements.

You are responsible to define the roadmap together with the business team and accordingly work on our SAP system landscape towards S / 4HANA for Finance & Controlling processes.

You own every outcome, decision and activity related to solution for which the scope is defined. Decisions are prepared and actions taken based on deep understanding of Hilti Business Model, specific product area and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines.

Furthermore, you’ll be managing stakeholder relations, take decisions based on financial benefits & business impact with that prioritize the backlog, able to create user stories for functional and non-functional requirements, run demos and basic trainings and own the support process.

Additionally, you will be expected to work on agile approach for delivering fast results. You will be expected to coach juniors in the area so that they can work independently soon.

Lastly, you will definitely profit from your functional & technical experience in the areas; Finance (AR, AP, General Ledger, Currency management), interfaces with external partners (House Banks, Treasury Intelligence Solutions (TIS), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) etc.

familiar with Order to Cash (OtC) & Purchase to Pay (PtP) process (e.g. mass processing of incoming and outgoing payments, bank statement processing etc.

SAP Treasury module. and debugging skills in ABAP will be plus advantage.

You will be part of a global and diverse team located in Buchs (St. Gallen), Switzerland. You will be actively working with IT colleagues in other two strategic IT locations (Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Plano / Tulsa USA) and with our business stakeholders around the world.

What you need is :

  • Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s degree and / or PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant education
  • At least 5 years of experience as SAP FICO in SAP ERP 6.0 environment / S / 4HANA in the following Finance areas : Finance (AR, AP, General Ledger, Currency management), interfaces with external partners (House Banks, Treasury Intelligence Solutions (TIS), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) etc.
  • familiar with Order to Cash (OtC) & Purchase to Pay (PtP) process (e.g. mass processing of incoming and outgoing payments, bank statement processing etc.

    SAP Treasury module. and debugging skills in ABAP will be plus advantage

  • Strong drive for success and high level of commitment
  • Using advanced tools and methods for gathering of facts including analytical methods to develop solutions scenarios in the context of a globally operating enterprise
  • Planning, realization and controlling skills are systematically applied in daily work
  • Able to work and perform in an agile context applying the defined common methods
  • Willingness to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills (Fluent in English & German), high commitment, self-responsibility, and customer orientation
  • Experience in working in an international / virtual / geographically dispersed team
