The North Face is looking for an exceptional Integrated Marketing Operations Director to join our EMEA Marketing team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

A pivotal new transformational leadership, operational strategy and execution role to orchestrate the delivery of best practice organisation and process efficiencies through the adoption and unification of consistent marketing processes and outputs across all channels within the function.

As the Integrated Marketing Operations Director for The North Face you will serve as a core function for marketing, providing cross functional coordination, communication and reporting.

How You Will Make a Difference

The objectives of this role are to build a comprehensive End-to-End process management set-up that allows each Marketing Team to execute more effectively and efficiently.

You will achieve this by :

  • Developing the Marketing Data Strategy so that marketing as a whole has the necessary insights to build high-performing campaigns.
  • This involves checking the analytics, reporting and team processes to measure the effectiveness and overall performance of the marketing programs.

  • Working with EMEA senior leadership and via deep dives with the teams, evaluate the current marketing organisation in terms of its operations and integration as a function, through improved processes and programs so that everyone can work more effectively and efficiently.
  • Defining the gaps in the current marketing modus operandi, drive change proposing best practices
  • Co-creating a vision and plan for a market leading integrated and operational efficient future and agree with the leadership group in the territory and global
  • Fashioning In conjunction with stakeholders the change blueprint of strategies to drive the improvement in the short to medium term
  • Establishing the roadmap and associated resources, programs, actions, processes and tools for change and agree and achieve timeline milestones and outputs along the journey
  • Communicating the vision and change program to all stakeholders and teams to establish full engagement
  • Launching the full framework for the execution of the change through setting up workshops and other best practice - Take all stakeholders and teams on the change journey winning hearts, minds and commitment to a better way of working
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on progress against agreed milestones
  • Fostering a safe change environment that’s healthy for continuous improvement and evolution of best practice
  • Building Top-Down and control Bottom-up Marketing Budget
  • Control marketing budget spent against key strategic choices and OGSTM priorities
  • Skills for Success

    You will be a proven change transformational’ leader in retail brands and / or wider parallel sectors such as FMCG, Tech or Consultancy with 8-10 years of experience and :

  • A passion for the outdoors and the lifestyle industry as well as experience in Marketing operations and transformation
  • End to end expertise of designing, owning and evaluating operational processes and structural changes
  • A fully agile’ skillset, exceptional problem-solving style and thought process
  • KPI driven with an accurate, systematic, and methodical approach
  • Highly collaborative attitude in order to engage, build excellent relationships, inspirer and navigate changes as well as the ability to challenge senior stakeholders
  • An understanding of financials and budgeting
  • A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
