Job Description - Field Service / Asset Management Solutions Sales Consultant (190007WL) Preferred Qualifications

A Field Service / Asset Management Sales Consultant will work closely with the EMEA Utility Global Business Unit’s sales team to understand customer’s business requirements and identify an appropriate and compelling solution set of Oracle Utility products that address their needs.

They employ a consultative selling style, are professionally mature, work collaboratively in a team environment, and take the initiative to ensure customers make an Oracle product selection.

The Sales Consultant role will be focused on providing functional expertise in field service and / or work and asset management solutions.

Multi-product sales consulting experience is a plus. This resource will work directly with the sales team to understand the client’s needs and match them to Oracle Utilities applications.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Creates compelling customised responses to RFx.

Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales consulting process.

Advises internal and external clients on overall solution.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database / tools.

Ability to implement basic product features. Knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors.

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills : needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.

Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed.

A university degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable. Multi-lingual is a preference.

They employ a consultative selling style, are professionallymature, work collaboratively in a team environment, and take the initiative toensure customers make an Oracle product selection.

  • Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying thetechnology / application to client business requirements. Facilitation ofcustomer product / application understanding through presentations demonstrationsand benchmarks;
  • provision of support throughout the sell. As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert forformulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity toprospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Focuseson large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complexsolutions. Creates compelling customised responses to RFx.

    Ability to implement the most advancedproduct features. Experience withETL / Data Ingest. Familiarity withPython / R and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.

    Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

    Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

    Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database / tools.

    Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors.
