Management of theproduction department in order to ensure smooth production. Responsible for 2blow-fill-seal manufacturing and 2 packaging lines.

Responsible for managingproduction personnel to maximize quality and output in a manufacturing operation.Accountable for achieving production targets while maintaining cost controls.

Define and manage the departmental budget including cost of quality.

Under general directionand in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASPpolicies, procedures and guidelines, this position will focus on followingtasks :

  • Management of the production department for themanufacture and packaging of STERRAD cassettes in compliance with allGMP / MD-relevant directives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive set of metrics to trackmanufacturing performance with regards to supply and quality
  • Leadership of personnel of the production department
  • Development of the production department with regard toproduct quality, production process efficiency and process improvement
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance ofthe daily management system according to FBS standards
  • Monitoring of product quality and compliance withdefined production processes
  • Initiation and management of projects to optimizeproduction and control processes with regard to quality, efficiency and costs
  • Ensure optimal manufacturing and control processesthrough project management and operational excellence activities
  • Monitor and adherence to deadlines
  • Monitor and compliance with GMP, safety, accidentprevention, hygiene and environmental regulations
  • Close collaboration with other departments : Planning,AVOR, QA, Engineering & Maintenance, Facility Management and EHS&S,Logistics a.o.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues oropportunities to next management level
  • A minimum of aBachelor’s Degree is required, an Advanced Degree is preferred

  • Masters degree is desirable
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a pharma or medicaldevice related business
  • Hands-on experience in production and / or quality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, andprocedures
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, ProcessExcellence, and / or Lean Concepts
  • Ability to proactively seek solutions and developalternative solutions
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customersor employees of the organization and deliver effective presentations
  • Proficiency with common office computer softwareprograms such as MS-Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Experience in Project Management
