Your field of responsibility

We offer you an exciting opportunity working as a Senior Business Analyst Impairment within the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) function where you will take a key role in the review and approval process of US and Swiss GAAP CECL for the International Wealth Management (IWM) division.

You will provide and present divisional inputs to global committees and senior management, and ensure adherence to the nine interagency factors with respect to the allowance for loan losses.

In addition, you will support and drive the qualitative overlay process in a collaborative environment with the divisional Credit Risk Management team (CRM).

In this role, you will help to ensure reserves are appropriate and accurate.

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for a candidate that offers both technical skills as well as experience in driving topics independently.

  • At least 8 years of experience in a quantitative analysis function within the banking industry, with specific exposure to credit risk management
  • Proven track record in a fast paced professional environment with exposure to provisioning / allowance for loan loss concepts / CECL would be advantageous
  • Results-oriented analytical, conceptual and problem solving attitude with an affinity for financial modeling.
  • Validated experience as a strong, self-starting standout colleague who can adapt to working in a highly collaborative and flexible working environment, and is used to drive topics independently.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical programming (e.g. R, Python) is a plus.
