LEGAL COUNSEL KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

To further strengthen the efficiency of Richemont Group Legal, we recruit for a temporary mission of 6 months a Legal Counsel - Knowledge Management, reporting to the Group Deputy General Counsel - Richemont Maisons.
Standards creation and maintenance
Draft, review, harmonize, consolidate and / or collect a wide variety of template agreements and other legal instruments (relating inter alia to distribution, after-sales, e-commerce, consultancy, manufacturing, confidentiality, designer, licensing, endorsement, sponsorship), in accordance with the operational needs of the business and Group Legal.
Participate in multi-Maison, Richemont and Group Legal matters that require coordination, and / or the drafting and issuance of legal and operational documents in form of memoranda, guidelines, policies or other forms of instructions.
Maintain, keep up to date and further enrich the knowledge depositories for internal and external legal documents.
Ensure the application of the visual identity guidelines of Group Legal.
Legal project management
Coordinate, manage and run the daily operations of various legal projects, including inter alia enhancements and / or migrations of existing legal systems and tools as well as implementation of new projects involving legal tech.
Oversee, document and report on the projects' progress, lead related meetings, review / approve work plans of external service providers selected for a project as necessary and follow up with various stakeholders to meet the objectives set by the working group.
Manage project risks, escalating project issues to the working group as necessary and ensuring that mitigation actions are taken and monitored effectively.
Develop and implement a strategy to accompany the changes brought on by projects, e.g. through communication and training.
Cooperate with all members of Group Legal on a planned and / or an ad hoc basis to collect, shape and disseminate legal knowledge and develop best practices for the benefit of all.
Provide day-to-day peer advice and support with academic and technical legal input.
Manage access, train and introduce new team members to the knowledge management system and depositories, updating training materials and following up with IT on users' operational or technical issues as necessary.
Depending on needs, identify new tools and techniques, including technology based, to improve knowledge sharing.
Masters' degree in law with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in providing legal advice on a wide variety of legal matters in an international environment.
A combination of private practice and in-house experience would be ideal.
Experience in commercial, contract and distribution law, with a solid grasp of the principles of law and proven analytic and drafting skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a can-do attitude and the ability to achieve results.
Strong team spirit, open-mindedness and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in close cooperation with others - both internal and external lawyers as well as non-lawyer colleagues or stakeholders.
Rigour and sense of initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and handle different / multiple tasks.
IT-savviness with excellent knowledge of the legal tech environment and excellent command of Microsoft Office 365.
Fluency in English and French, other languages are a plus.
