We are currently looking to hire a to be based in the PMI’s Operations Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland at Philip Morris International Management SA.

You will play a critical role creating a new lifestyle category around stylish products that have the potential to reduce risk to smokers.

You’ll work collaboratively across the Global Communications function and with key internal customers and senior leaders across PMI functions to deliver the profile-raising campaigns.

This role will drive awareness, interest, and excitement for PMI’s mission and products through proactive consumer lifestyle communications efforts. KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Owns and leads the deployment of consumer-facing communications campaigns to publicize PMI products and brands
  • Develops a consumer lifestyle media strategy to deliver omni-channel consumer communications campaigns
  • Identifies unique opportunities to educate and engage consumers around current events, company or industry news
  • Builds a deep understanding of PMI’s products and consumers to develop narratives that translate those concepts to broad consumer audiences
  • Serves as an PR expert on the global communications team to inform global strategy and share best practices DESIRED PROFILE
  • In-depth experience managing brand and consumer facing communications campaigns across paid, earned, and owned for leading consumer goods clients
  • Understanding of consumer media market with solid experience of creative storytelling and developing, pitching and securing stories
  • Familiar with harnessing traditional and social media outlets to promote consumer messages for products and brands
  • Skilled in writing campaign plans for short- and medium-range programs to engage journalists and bloggers in co-creation of stories about companies and their consumer-facing portfolios
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships to manage and deliver global communications campaigns
  • Native-level English speaker or fluency in English with superior written and oral skills, other languages an asset
  • Brand and consumer marketing, account management and PR experience at an agency or in a corporate setting
