Roche Diabetes Care - IT
We are a global IT department with headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, an IT Hub in Barcelona, Spain and Satellite offices in Indianapolis, Mannheim, Singapore, Brazil, Poland, China and the UK.
We are a heavily outsourced organisation and so our internal IT department needs to be able to manage and work with internal and external partners effectively to provide quality services for operations, development and technical solution and design functions.
We are a highly regulated business with Data Integrity and Security a key component of our work.
Our scope is all IT infrastructure and business systems excluding Product IT and Engineering which is managed from our R&D and Manufacturing functions.
However, we are continuously expanding our services when opportunities arise and we can provide added value to the diabetes business.
and the back office Global Partnering systems (e.g. Finance; Procurement; Legal and HR).
Job Purpose
Perform solution / application design and business processes optimization in order to meet business, customer and technological requirements at a global level in respective area
Develops and manages the respective business critical know-how within the business areas supported
Works with the solution architect to translate complex business requirements into solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.
Represents IT to the business areas, owns the solution
Key Accountabilities
Consults business on best use of IT solutions and capabilities to improve business performance
Explains benefit and use of new / upgraded technology capabilities
Supports business and IT governance in developing business cases and the assessment of change initiatives.
Drives small to mid-level implementations, initiatives and change requests within own area of specialism
Leads physical and virtual cross functional teams of internal and / or external resources
Business continuity by working within the IT organization to resolve incidents, analyse problems and trends and propose and plan the implementation of solutions.
Manages communication on technology change and plans end-user and business involvement in events (training, testing

Customer satisfaction measured by business, project team and user surveys
Achieve agreed targets in terms of quality, time and cost aligned with project delivery
Achieve defined requirements and metrics as defined within area of expertise and assigned domain

Who You Are

You have worked in an organisation with heavily-outsourced IT services that includes design, operations and maintenance
Technical experience in developing enterprise strength systems and then influencing key decision makers at all levels
Great interpersonal skills and will be capable of facilitating and driving a variety of initiatives, briefings and workshops with a wide range of technical and non-technical participants
Can demonstrate a broad working knowledge of existing and emerging technologies including IT infrastructure, IT security and application ecosystems such as Salesforce and SAP

As the ideal candidate, you bring in addition :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, IT or numerate disciplines
Several years’ experience within the area of support.
Familiarity with change management, risk management and quality management
Awareness of project management methods
ITILv3 or SAFe experience and knowledge is a plus
Proven analytical skills with ability to drive efficient design concepts and deliver against milestones
Strong influencing and communication skills, fluent in English
Capable of working in an international environment with virtual teams
Strong team player with proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Previous experience in the pharma or diagnostics industry or other regulated environment is a plus
