Main Responsibilities

Key Tasks

Product management. You are responsible for developing a service strategy by collecting market research, customer feedback and stakeholder input, and to keep the balance between the development team and the needs of the customer.

The Head of IoT Services is monitoring the performance of the product range and define marketing actions that maximize sales and financial performance of the IoT services.

You are deciding on the service’s positioning and preparing the pricing strategy in collaboration with the pricing team, and in cooperation with the communications team you oversee the creation of sales and marketing material.

Project management. Ensure that all projects are run in accordance with BOBST processes, and that viable services are delivered to the market on time and on budget.

The industrialization of the service is a vital part of the project, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the service fulfills all relevant criteria and that all involved functions in the company are aligned on the deliverable.

Team management. You will lead a marketing innovations team with a strong focus on customer insights and data analysis. The team is working closely to the IT division and is instrumental in defining the correct system structure.

Uses cases and specifications . You and the product owners are the voice of the customer for IoT Services in the organization, and based on market insights and customer requirements you are responsible for establishing the use cases and the functional specifications for the development of new services.

To translate customer requirements into technical specification, you have Product Owners managing individual services in your team.

Product roadmap . The Head of IoT Services Marketing is responsible for ensuring that existing services continuously meet the market needs, and to propose improvements to them as required.

You are ensuring that any changes to a services is communicated to the customer in an understandable way.

Training. Actively train and inform internal stakeholders on the IoT services portfolio and its benefits to the customers.

  • Willingness to travel, 30-40% of the time
  • Fluent in English
  • Education & Experience

  • BS / BA degree in either Marketing, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Min. 5-year B2B marketing experience, preferably from a software company
  • Experience from the machine industry is a plus
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and change management
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish challenging tasks
