Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD), headquartered here in Basel, is focused on helping make the world a healthier place by bringing the benefits of trusted pharmaceutical brands to much broader patient populations - in the developed world and, particularly, in the fastest growing markets.
EPD brings value to its patients and customers through a growing portfolio of high-quality established pharmaceutical products and by building country-specific portfolios of trusted products to suit local patient needs.
Why do we need you? We are on a journey to become more data- and insight-driven and want to start to explore advanced analytics and modern data technologies to a larger extent than before.
To support this transformation we are currently building a small core team here in Basel to help accelerate awareness generation, understanding and adoption of data and analytics solutions within the company - worldwide.
Who do we need? We search for 2-3 passionate master or PhD students in e.g., applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, applied statistics or other relevant areas, who are intrinsically motivated to guide people and help make Advanced Analytics more accessible to a broader range of stakeholders within our global company communities.
The specific roles can be shaped based on your individual profiles and interest, but in total the team of working students would help + Drive, engage and develop our worldwide community of digital change agents and Advanced Analytics translators + Curate Advanced Analytics news and trends and distill these into weekly easy-to-read newsletters for all our employees + identify relevant training curriculum for online and in person trainings in the areas of data, analytics and machine learning by helping to review various offerings on the market + help work on prioritized Advanced Analytics projects where and when required.
We need people with passion about their area of study, who want to help others understand this new world of opportunities.
