The position holder provides management focus and implementation strength in developing revenue-generating sales and marketing initiatives around StraumannGroup’s premium implant and biomaterial solutions.
This position coordinates and networks closely with all relevant internal stakeholders : on global marketing level, with the product management and marketing entities within the countries and the regional and country sales management.
She / he masters new sales and marketing techniques and trends in digital marketing, remote selling, blended Training & Education / events and growth hacking .
The position holder drives thought and implementation leadership in marketing activities, customer segmentation and transforming the current go-to-market approach towards value adding services, solution selling and new customer acquisition.
Manages and drives all aspects of product management around premium implant systems, biomaterials and affiliated digital solutions within Region Western Europe
Engages and collaborated with the country-based Product Managers and develops and implements activities jointly with them
Educates and develops Region Western Europe’s Sales & Marketing community further, mainly in areas of : Customer segmentation and customer targetingCompetitor knowledge and how to gain competitor customersProduct position, solution selling and positioning value-adding servicesService capabilities towards our sales Force / other internal functions
Implements and develops Go-to-Market plans and implementation plans for new products, existing products (where further product push is needed) and phase-out products
Develops promotions, campaigns, pricing structures and commercial plans together with our global and country counterparts
Analyses sales development, discount levels and margin improvements and support the sales leadership with the fight facts & figures in the decision-making process
Monitors sales performance of focus products, provides growth insights and supports countries to achieve sales targets and aspiration
Supports in identifying and capturing new sales opportunities and sales approaches
Co-defines the (internal and external) Training & Education priorities for our solution portfolio and engages in Key Opinion Leader identification and development
Delivers input for advertisement and communication for our solution portfolio to foster positioning and commercial success
Hosts a product manager community and facilitates best-practice sharing across our countries
Represents Region Western Europe and its respective country organizations with global counterparts and advocates needs and wants
Engages as a player-learner in developing a winning team that has a high business impact
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Strong experience within a product management, marketing, and / or sales development framework
5-years+ experience within product management, sales and / or business Development / or a commercial role with proven commercial success from the medical devices field
Track record in achieving challenging results
Comfortable with up to 40% travelling
Experienced manager (5+ years’ experience in a leadership role, experienced in talent development, performance management and coaching)
Energetic, straightforward and performance-driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong marketing and commercial execution abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
business fluent English skills, any additional European language is an advantage
