Role Purpose :

Under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Representative will create and develop THV market in Swiss German Area.

He / She will have to achieve the sales target accordingly.

Major Job Functions :

Acquire a thorough working knowledge of the products / therapies and procedure, develop an extensive understanding of all their applications

Establish customer contact and strengthen relationships to create and protect THV business

Drive penetration of THV products in the given territory, give Edwards THV a face in the market

Create new business with new customers

Coordinate the activities from site selection to independence (identify site’s team, coordinate training and proctoring) working closely with the Education team and according to the Sales & Education strategy

Be responsible for achieving sales target

Monitor sales activity, create and adopt a Business Plan per account and follow up on Account & Market evolution, plan and prepare forecasts by account, product and therapy for the given territory as well as propose expenses for meetings and / or customer activities including Proctor visits

Monitor and report Competition activities

Support Marketing Manager responsible for Market Development within Information Strategy mainly on local events in the given territory

Execute the Edwards marketing and product / launch strategy

Be responsible for inventory management (ordering, shipment, swap & scrap,).

Ensure to report all products and procedures complaints to the local Quality & Regulatory departments within 24hours compliance management

Adopt to Customer Management System Sales Force.com and validate Customer Data Bank regular.

Required Education / Skills :

Good level of clinical skills

Talented selling skills and business acumen

Leadership good capabilities to drive customers

Sees her / himself as the Customer Manager and act as first access Partner

University degree is not a must; alternative candidates are welcome

Solution oriented, create innovative, customized denouements

Strong communicator and creative individual

Passion and strong motivation

Excellent planning and organization skills

Flexible person and able to travel extensively

Able to adapt easily to different customers and different business strategies

Independent and team work

Fluent in German, English, French. Italian is a plus, not a must

Full clean drivers license

IT / PC skills windows, PPT; Word, Excel

Hospital Economic understanding (DRG reimbursement system)

Ability to work and get familiar with Sales Forece.com Customer Relation Management System

Required Experience

Prior experience in sales in the medical field is needed

Knowledge of the operating room or cath lab environment is a plus

Established network in the interventional cardiology / cardiac surgery market is a strong advantage

Previous experience in launching a new technology would be a real asset
