People Operations Coordinator

As People Operations Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact in the People Team for any work-related matters.

While you may be explaining policies, resolving cases or supporting a core process on one day, occasionally you may be needed to support organizing an event or support some office activities.

The role is broad and varied and is just right for talented individuals, who are looking for a career in the broader people arena but perhaps haven’t yet quite found their niche.

This role can give you exposure to all areas of the People function while also giving you an opportunity to contribute from day one with important deliverables.

How you will make a difference

  • Provide day-to-day support to Scandits any employee queries, either pointing them to the information they need or resolve through our case management system a wide range of people related questions.
  • Utilizing these queries to continuously improve Tier 0 information and drive increased self-service.

  • HR Knowledge - Maintain an understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations that are significant to Human Resources and provide Tier 1 HR policy interpretation when necessary.
  • Maintain our People Systems maintain all people records, as well as ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to the Payroll team, and for relevant Government / Legal Compliance requirements.
  • Maintain HR documentation including personnel files both in hard copy and our shared drives and HRIS. Create and distribute documents / letters and take charge of tracking spending against budgets.
  • Coordinate the Recruitment process Schedule and coordinate interviews, organise interviewee travel and support on-boarding.
  • Support the HR Function Partner with our CoE’s, in particular HR Technology, to deliver projects, improve processes and drive efficiencies within the function.
  • Help coordinate onboarding for new-joiners, making sure they have everything they need to succeed at Scandit on Day One.

  • Who You Are

  • We’re looking for a results oriented person who pays attention to detail. You have to be very structured and able to assist in handling varied volumes of work.
  • Worked with recruitment and HR data systems, inputting data and maintaining systems, preferably within a fast-moving company.
  • Driven by results and execution focused, passionate about continuously completing tasks and have a methodical approach even when working under pressure.
  • You are a real people person with the ability to build relationships. A great listener and structured communicator who can deliver yes and nos almost equally well.
  • You’re a team player, thrive on working with your colleagues. You’re not afraid to ask for help when you need it and happy to support the team whichever way you can.
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail and can balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • You are proactive and you take ownership.
  • You remain calm under pressure and stay professional and friendly.
  • You’ll appreciate and understand the need for confidentiality in dealing with any people related activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business proficiency in English
