In this role, you will be responsible to Implement Group-wide performance improvement programs and practices to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment throughout the global Business Unit / Product Group.
Coach, support and provide advice to leadership and line managers on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters and report on the performances of the respective organization along ABB's value chain.
Ensuring timely notification of HSE incidents, investigations, preventive and corrective actions and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ABB Group.
Ensuring PGTR BL operates in alignment with ABB HSE standards and policies. Approves and coordinates audit programs on behalf of the Business Line.
Contributing to effective risk management of HSE related issues by providing specialist knowledge and advice on key business decisions to the PGTR BL leadership team.
Driving behavioral change by determining business unit / product group requirements for Center of Expertise (CoE) services.
Engaging external (e.g. customers, suppliers and other stakeholders) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment on ABB's HSE efforts and performance and obtain objective feedback.
Cooperates with the CoE, other functions and business partners to drive HSE performance.
Participating in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets and constraints.
Establishing, implementing and maintaining PGTR BL-specific risk programs. Ensure effectiveness of them at operations.
Ensure delivery of training, audit and support for key risk programs are optimized through and delivered through the CoE
Contributing to and / or plans and executes HSE related projects. Develop and report on project objectives. Manage project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.

University degree preferably with HSSE master, or equivalent
Minimum 15 years of experience in Global HSSE Management roles
Plant / Ops management experience and Six Sigma BB, MBB a plus
Large-scale project and program management change management experience and finance and Accounting knowledge is required
Strategic thinking, systematic, assertive in developing internal relationships
Objective, independent and decisive leadership style
Ability to convince and drive diverse stakeholder groups, able to manage and navigate through complexities of large organizations
Strong team leadership and good communication skills, with strong intercultural understanding
Works well in matrix / Team structure, target- and schedule-focused
Fluency in English language
