The SEO Senior Manager will play a leadership role in establishing a best-in-class SEO capabiltity for total VF in the EMEA region, partnering with brand and central teams across functions (marketing, e-
commerce, IT), in strong collaboration with technology partners and agencies.
SEO is a top priority for VF to drive quality traffic to our different Brand.com sites and strong engagement, which in turn drives sustainable and profitable growth, with a customer centric approach.
To be successful in this key role requires a combination of technical SEO skills, as well as analytical, project management, and business / marketing skills.
It also requires excellent people skills and an attitude that fosters collaboration and partnerships.
Key responsibilities include :
Act as product owner of the SEO program in the EMEA region across all brands. Ensure excellence in execution, developing a solid partnership with the SEO agency and all key stakeholders.
Leverage synergies and drive coordination / governance across brands. Develop and align optimization & innovation SEO roadmap.
Grow quality organic traffic and associated revenue across all VF brands in Europe. Ensure ongoing optimization and innovation, with focus on the opportunities with biggest business impact across the portfolio of brands.
Facilitate and accelerate execution.
Liaise and align all different stakeholders (developers, e-commerce product owners, , agencies, third party vendors, brand teams, content managers) to define prioritization across all website improvement and enhancements, remove barriers.
Lead QBR’s and monthly reviews in partnership with SEO agency, define dashboards, track key KPI’s, drive best practices and optimization.
Be expert reference / consultant to the brands, supporting them in defining their SEO brand vision, content strategy, tone of voice.
Ensure holistic approach across VF brands.
Stay abreast of industry trends (e.g. voice search, AMP). Serve as an evangelist for SEO across the company, working with cross-
functional teams to instill SEO best practices, and take advantage of new opportunities.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for an SEO professional with tangible experience gained preferably within the sportswear, fashion, or apparel industries and strong track record of results.
Bachelor’s degree (Master a plus) in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Fluent in English with solid writing and oral skills (German, French, Italian or other top European languages a plus).

Technical skills :
At least 5 years’ experience managing SEO programs
Full proficiency in on-page and off-page optimization (e.g. titles, meta descriptions, h1 / h2 headings, page content, image alt tags, image filenames, URL structure, link building, etc.)
Knowledge of HTML, CMS (Adobe Experience manager / WordPress), Java-script, AJAX CSS, and other web technologies an advantage.
Fluency with JIRA (or similar), familiarity with IBM Websphere / Magento, and knowledge of in scripting languages such as .
php, .aspx, and .jsp. highly appreciated.
Superior organizational, presentation, and communication skills both verbal and written
Experience on financial analysis and putting together business case / reco’s.
A history of using data to drive marketing and sales outcomes or better consumer experiences.
Well versed in digital marketing and analytics.
Expertise on project management a plus
